Domestic Violence Assessment

 

Purpose

A parent who may be violent may be a potential risk to a child. An assessment may be ordered by the Court to assess the degree of risk. 

 

Relevant Legislation

Section 62G(2) of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth)

Child Living Arrangments

 

Purpose

Parents may dispute their child's or children's living arrangements. This may be resolved by an assessment ordered by the Court to determine what is the best arrangement in the interest of the child or children
